Program Director Jeannine Palazza of GuildCare Buffalo, a program of Lighthouse Guild, welcomed New York State Senators Timothy Kennedy and Chris Jacobs along with City Comptroller Mark Schroeder as they celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the GuildCare Adult Day Health Care Program with staff and clients.

GuildCare, a program of Lighthouse Guild, opened in 1992, at 1170 Main Street, where it still operates today. GuildCare is New York State’s only Adult Day Health Care provider specializing in services to persons with vision impairment and chronic medical conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure or a history of stroke, heart disease or eye disease. Our program has made a real and lasting impact on people, families and communities affected by vision loss. GuildCare is also offered at three other sites in New York State: Albany, Manhattan and Niagara Falls.
The theme for the celebratory event was “Through the Years” and the day was filled with entertainment, games, food and a staff photo board for everyone’s viewing pleasure.
